Epistemology afternoon

Dr Zheng Weiping (Xiamen University): "On Peirce's Norm of Belief"

Prof. Chen Jiaming (Xiamen University): "Conceptual Realism：An
Interpretation of Kant's Philosophy"

David Papineau (King's College, London): "Normativity and Epistemic
Practice"

Abstract:
Some philosophers hold that nature of belief is 'constituted by norms' in a
way that cannot be accommodated by naturalism.  I shall show that this is
not true, and indeed that the very idea that anything can be constituted by
(genuine) norms is problematic.
